Dragonmeet

Dragonmeet is, and has always been, a strong supporter of charities.

This year we are doing something slightly different. The money raised from the auction is still going to go to our two usual charities but we’re also bringing in a Bring & Buy stand at the show which people can bring along items to sell to your fellow gamers.

The Bring & Buy details will be published later but there will be a 15% commission charged on all sales which will all go to a third charity – Naomi’s Fight – which is a charity set up to raise £20,000 for Naomi Farrington and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Naomi is the two-year granddaughter of Marc Farrimond, who is the Demonstration Co-ordinator for Cubicle 7 Entertainment (Dragonmeets owners and publishing company) and the money raised will go towards buying a compression vest for young Naomi which has to be imported from America.

Alstrom Syndrome UK – Support for people with Alstrom Syndrome and their carers.

CLIC Sargent – Caring for Children and Young People with Cancer.

Bring & Buy Commission Goes To:

Naomi’s Fight – Raising money for Naomi Farrington and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
