Pirates Of The Korabyan by Hugh Edmondes Preedy of The Phoenix Games Club.
“You are requested and required to proceed with all possible haste to the riverside wharfs below the great bridge at Parayan and seek out the sailing barge “Darkswine”. You must take possession of the ship and place her Captain, crew and passengers under close arrest pending my further instructions. Should the vessel be unladen when you arrive, observe discreetly until loading has taken place and then carry out your orders. It is of the utmost importance that the vessel should not be allowed to set sail.” Quirrell, Duke of Mharybr.
It’s a hard life sometimes being a March Warden in the Pactlands of Mharybr. It’s not as if you don’t have enough to do coping with the recent outbreak of petty crime in the towns and villages along the River Korabyan; there have been many reports of ladies’ underwear disappearing from washing lines, the Concerned Sisters of Ilmana at Monk’s Ford are furious about the theft of the orphanage children’s new winter woollies as they were drying on wooden racks near the river, not to mention the break-in at Grabpot Thrustbucket’s Wine and Spirit Warehouse at Parayan that you were well on your way to investigate when these latest orders arrived from his Lordship. Still, you might be able to kill two birds with one stone…
A Classic AD&D adventure for up to 6 pre-generated player characters.
