Dragonmeet 2008 is brought to you by...

Angus Abranson Angus

A roleplayer since 1984 Angus joined Leisure Games, one of Britains leading games stores, in 1985. He has been with them so long in fact that it is commonly believed he pretty much runs the place, However a quick look at their website proves that they have never paid him and are still bewildered as to his presence every day...

Angus has also written for a number of magazines over the years and in 1994 helped launch Valkyrie Magazine. He, as part of Gameforce Ltd, has been involved with Dragonmeet since its rebirth back in 2000 and in 2006 his company, Cubicle 7 Entertainment, brought the convention and has been running it along with Gameforce: London since.

Angus's 'larger then life' ego was fuelled when he appeared in a series of Vampire novels written by Tim Dedopulos and published by White Wolf. Only his death in the second book, at the hands of a character based on his girlfriend at the time, has stemmed his slipping grasp on reality.

Unfortunately in 2006 Angus featured in this brilliant Dork Tower Cartoon Strip by John Kovalic, further boosting his ego and his belief that life is fiction and fiction is life...

Chris Birch Placeholder

After being introduced to the joys of table top adventures by his two brothers, Chris went on to run his college fantasy society. As far as we can tell this seems to have involved spending the funds on numerous visits to Games Workshop, and hosting outrageous costume medieval banquets.

Chris came close to actually releasing a game about 15 years ago when he first met Angus, who's passion for the industry and gaming encouraged him to make it happen one day. Unfortunately life got in the way, but in 2007 he joined Cubicle 7 and this year he is releasing the highly anticipated Starblazer Adventures.

When Chris is not working on "Rock and Roll Space Opera" he is one of the guys behind Joystick Junkies, this is of course a British Urban fashion range...

Chris is helping to organise sponsors and publicity for this year's Dragonmeet and on the day you'll find Chris on Cubicle 7's booth.

Neil Ford

Neil Ford

Neil Ford is a 30+ year gaming veteran living in Horsham with his wife Natalie and two cats.

After cutting his RPG teeth on the Dark Blue edition of D&D he went on to work in the industry for the likes of Games Workshop (mid 80s) and Wizards of the Coast (95 - 97). He has also run demos and demo teams for amongst others: TSR, GDW, Steve Jackson Games, Chaosium, British Isles Traveller Support, WotC.

Currently Neil spends most of his time running games and is also involved with playtesting for Pelgrane Press (Gumshoe), Arc Dream (Wild Talents, Monsters and other Childish Things), D101 Games (Simplequest) and Wordplay Games (Wordplay).

He is one of the people responsible for the massive spread of M:TG through out the land, running tournaments from 93 through to 98, and was the main organiser of the UK M:TG National Championships for two years. We try not to hold that against him...

Tracey Willis

Placeholder

Tracey started gaming many many years ago, so long ago in fact she can't remember exactly when or how many different games she has played. As well as tabletop Tracey has been involved in various LARP events including Genon UK (as part of Millennium Moon) and the Camarilla UK.

Over the years and conventions she has got to know many of the good people in the RPG industry, from shop owners, Magazine writers and even Game designers. Because of this Tracey's role at Dragonmeet is classified, suffice to say she likes to be running things "behind the scenes" and she knows just about everybody...

Bubba

Bubba

Bubba is Dragonmeet's Webmaster and is best known as the back half of the pantomine horse that is Critical Miss. He is responsible for Dragonmeet's new web presence and is always on the look out for feedback and suggestions as to how to make things better.

A roleplayer for 20+ years his only real contribution to the RPG industry has been as co-creator of Critical Miss. He did once shoot James Wallis with a LARP crossbow, but we don't like to talk about that.

Somehow he managed to meet, propose to, and then marry his Irish wife at three consecutive Conpulsion's, however in spite of this he has never made it to an Irish Games convention...

Bubba is of course a pseudonym.
